Starting April 1 of the current year, the previously zero-rated tax for waste collection and removal services will be eliminated, as reported by the Republican Center for the Organization of Sanitary Cleaning Works.
As clarified by the tax authorities overseeing this process, the value added tax is applied to the value of sanitary cleaning services provided by the service provider. This adjustment affects both residents and entrepreneurs alike.
The existing service fee stands at 4000 soums. With the addition of a 12% value added tax from April 1, the total service cost will rise to 4480 soums.
It's important to note that the price for waste removal in Tashkent had previously experienced an increase.
