The "Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" business forum was organized in Bishkek as part of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan.
It is noted that according to the results of the 11th month of 2022, the volume of trade between the two countries amounted to 543.2 million dollars. Compared to the same period in 2021, it increased by 21%.
Of course, these are not the threshold indicators for the mutual trade of strategic partners. I hope that shortly the volume of trade will reach billions of dollars," says Oqilbek Japarov.
According to the results of the forum, a set of solid agreements with a total value of more than 1.6 billion dollars was signed in chemistry, electrical engineering, automobile industry, textile industry, agriculture, production of building materials, production of leather products, and other fields.
