In the FIDE rating, the ranking of two Uzbekistan chess players rose and one decreased

The International Chess Federation (FIDE) announced the October chess rankings. Norwegian Magnus Carlsen leads with 2,856 points, though he lost 5 points in the Sinkfield Cup.

Nodirbek Abdusattarov from Uzbekistan dropped one position in the table and dropped out of the top 30.  Abdusattorov, considered the youngest world rapid champion, finished 31st with 2,713 points.  Another Uzbek grandmaster Rustam Kasimjanov takes 69th place.  Among the representatives of Uzbekistan in the ranking rose Nodirbek Yakubov and Javokhir Sindorov.  The Yakubov rose nine positions with 2,663 points and finished in 80th place, while Sindorov finished in 92nd place with 2,652 points.

Chinese chess player Ding Liren took 2nd place in the ranking.  Hou Yifan continues to lead among women with 2,638 points.

In contrast to Carlsen, Aliriza Firuzja of France won the Sinkfield Cup: she scored 7 points and placed 4th in the world ranking.  Fabiano Caruana, who had lost a lot of points in recent months, rose one position since September and finished 8th.
