A melon ripened in the Kukdala district of the Kashkadarya region (oblast). The State Customs Committee announced this today, 12 May.
It is said that Rufat Buriyev, landowner of Utamayli village, grew the first harvest. The first harvest consists of “Dakara” melons. It is expected that the export of melons will begin soon.
According to enthusiastic farmers, cultivation of melon crops in the region starts in February every year. At the same time, varieties that meet export requirements, such as «Jiyan», «Torpedo», «Airport», will be selected.
It should be recalled that also in 2022, the first crop of melons were taken from the garden of Rufat Buriyev.
