Photo feport: aftermath of the fire at Tashkent State Agrarian University

On the evening of September 30, a devastating fire broke out in one of the buildings on the campus of Tashkent State Agrarian University, located in the Qibray district of the Tashkent region. Today, on October 1, at 8:00 a.m., the QALAMPIR.UZ team visited the scene and captured photos of the aftermath, revealing the extent of the damage.

The fire, which started at 20:10, was fully contained by 21:36 and completely extinguished by 22:10, according to official reports. The firefighting effort was led by Major General Abdulla Koldoshev, the Minister of Emergencies, who directly supervised the operation.

The university spans 28 hectares and houses several government organizations and private institutions, including the Ministry of Ecology and Environmental Protection and Climate Change. The building affected by the fire was home to the Forestry Agency.

Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries or fatalities from the fire. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
