Hojimat Erkinov and Abduqodir Husanov, members of Uzbekistan's U-23 national football team, won't be available for the Asian Cup final. This information was released by the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) press service.
Today, on April 30, both players left as per their clubs' discretion.
Reportedly, the UFA has agreed with Abduqodir Husanov and Hojimat Erkinov's clubs until their primary objective - securing an Olympic berth. Hence, these two players have returned to their clubs to gear up for the upcoming crucial matches.
"UFA extends its gratitude to "Lance" and "Al-Wahda" club for aiding our players in achieving this historic goal," the source mentioned.
For those interested, the U-23 Asian Cup final is scheduled for May 3, where Uzbekistan's Olympic team will face Japan in the decisive match, kicking off at 20:30 Tashkent time.
