Khusanov checks on injured cameraman

Uzbekistan national team defender Abdukodir Khusanov gave his jersey to a cameraman who was injured on the sidelines after the match against Colombia. The press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association reported this.

As is known, during Uzbekistan’s first-ever World Cup match today, June 18, defender Abdukodir Khusanov collided with a broadcast cameraman in one of the challenges for the ball.

After the match, the cameraman’s condition was checked, and he was presented with a special jersey signed by Abdukodir Khusanov. The Uzbek footballer wished the cameraman a speedy recovery and expressed his sincere support.

The UFA noted that the incident became another clear example of mutual respect and humanity in sports.

Uzbekistan’s national team played against Colombia in the first round and suffered a 3-1 defeat. Uzbekistan’s first-ever World Cup goal was scored by Abbosbek Fayzullayev.
