Terence Crawford's trainer, Brian McIntyre, is confident that his pupil will move up two weight divisions to fight super middleweight Saul Alvarez after defeating WBA super middleweight champion Isroil Madrimov. McIntyre made this statement in an interview with Boxing247.

According to McIntyre, his team is prepared to accept this fight despite the weight difference, but the final decision rests with Alvarez.

"At the moment, the most important task before us is overcoming the Madrimov challenge. Terence has decided to move up to 154 pounds. As for 'Canelo,' he will become our target after the Madrimov fight. I have no objections to our fight with Alvarez, and I know that Terence is eagerly awaiting this bout. However, our primary focus is currently on Madrimov," stated the coach.

For your information, the fight between Terence Crawford and Isroil Madrimov will take place on August 3 in Los Angeles, USA. The bout will be contested for Madrimov's WBA belt and the vacant WBO junior middleweight belt.
