Governors exposed as having accepted about a thousand anti-rivalry documents

4231The governors of Uzbekistan accepted about 1,000 anti-rivalry documents in 2021. As reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Anti-monopoly Committee, Bekzod Ummatov.
It was noted that 1,500 draft laws and regulations drawn up by ministries and departments and their local subdivisions, which had an impact on rivalry, had been reviewed, and 278 anti-rivalry standards were identified in projects. Appropriate opinions on their elimination were issued.
In addition, 976 documents signed by local governments and 374 government agency documents have been declared as anti-rivalry and measures have been taken to abolish them.
