We reported that three Uzbek women were caught illegally crossing the India-Nepal border in the state of Bihar and will be deported from the country. After these events, the women were returned to Uzbekistan with the help of the diplomatic mission. This was reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.

As it turned out, despite the decision of the court of first instance in the city of Araria in August 2022 to expel (deport) three women from Uzbekistan, they were still detained due to various bureaucratic obstacles and the complexity of jurisdiction.

However, the citizens and their relatives did not apply for prompt consular legal assistance on this issue.

After that, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Delhi held official talks with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India and the relevant agencies of the state of Bihar regarding this situation. The situation was brought under control, and the women who were provided consular and legal assistance were returned to their homeland with the support of the diplomatic mission.
