Old driver's licenses expire

From 31 March of this year, driver's licenses that were issued before 2010 will lose their validity. This was reported by the Information Agency of Uzbekistan.
It is noted that according to the decision of the government dated 12 April 2022 "On Approval of Traffic Rules", the deadline for mandatory replacement of all old-style driver's licenses and vehicle registration certificates was set as follows:
- Those issued before 2010 - until 31 March 2023;
- Those issued in 2010-2012 - until 30 June 2023;
- Those issued in 2013-2015 - until 30 September 2023;
- Those issued after 2015 - until 31 December 2023.
According to the message, the certificates that are not exchanged before the above periods are considered invalid.
