Reports have been circulating on social media claiming that drivers who obtained national driving licenses before 2021 will be required to undergo mandatory, free re-examinations at newly established testing centers according to a set schedule. The Road Traffic Safety Service has commented on these reports.
According to the service, the information is false and has no legal basis. Social media users are urged not to spread such misleading reports or misinform the public.
The dissemination of false information that poses a threat to public order or safety, including through mass media, telecommunications networks, or the internet, may result in fines ranging from 50 to 100 times the basic calculation amount.
