26635Huseyn Norchayev, the 22-year-old Uzbek striker for Vladikavkaz’s "Alania" club, could be set for a move to Portugal, according to Metaratings.
The report states that Portuguese club "Braga" is interested in securing the services of the Uzbek national team player. Norchayev has already begun the process of obtaining a Portuguese visa in preparation for his medical examination.
For context, Norchayev transferred to "Alania" from Karshi’s "Nasaf" club in February 2023 for a fee of 300,000 euros. The striker was loaned to "Neftchi" in Fergana until December of last year, where he scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists in 15 matches in the Uzbekistan Super League.
It is also important to note that "Alania"'s management plans to significantly reduce the club's expenses, with the team's salary fund expected to be reduced by five times. Danil Guriev, the club's vice-president, recently announced a shift in the club's development strategy. As a result, it is understandable that the club's management is carefully considering any proposals regarding Norchayev.
