An employee of the Dostlik district court on criminal cases of Jizzakh region was caught by the State Security Service and the prosecutor’s office accepting a bribe of 2 thousand US dollars from a citizen. This was reported by the State Security Service.
It is noted that a rapid event was held by the State Security Service in cooperation with the regional prosecutor’s office. In it, the employee of the Dostlik District Court on criminal cases, Sharof Rashidov, who lives in the district and has a previous conviction, received 4,000 USD in exchange for a positive decision in favor of the divorce claim of a citizen of Jizzakh through acquaintances who work in the civil court. It was determined that he demanded the money in exchange for the positive outcome.
They were caught by the State Security Service and the prosecutor’s office when they took 2,000 US dollars from a citizen.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these persons in accordance with the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigations are being conducted.
