Nodirbek Abdusattorov retains his position in the latest FIDE rankings

The World Chess Federation (FIDE) has released its updated rankings for January, featuring five Uzbek chess players among the world’s top competitors.
Nodirbek Abdusattorov remains in 6th place with a rating of 2766, unchanged from the previous ranking. However, his rating points decreased by two, down from 2768.
Javokhir Sindarov made significant progress, climbing from 37th to 31st place with a new rating of 2700. Meanwhile, Rustam Kasimjanov secured 46th place with 2681 points. Shamsiddin Vokhidov, with 2760 points, is ranked 52nd. Nodirbek Yakubboev, previously in 67th place, dropped one position to 68th, now holding a rating of 2659.
It is worth noting that Abdusattorov recently claimed victory in the prestigious "Tata Steel Chess" tournament.
