The next round of the "Tata Steel-2023" international tournament hosted by the Dutch city of Wijk-en-Zee has come to an end. Chess masters from Uzbekistan recorded one draw and one victory in the 3rd round.
Grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattarov, participating in the "Masters" group, chose the path of compromise, playing against Indian Dommardju Gukesh in black pieces.
Jawahir Sindorov, who entered the competition in the "Challenger" group, defeated another Indian representative, Rameshbabu Vaishali, in white pieces.
After the remaining rounds, both chess masters from Uzbekistan created a good chance for the top places with 1 win and 2 draws.
