Construction forces temporary closure of Ziyolilar Street in Tashkent

Starting May 17, a section of Ziyolilar Street in Tashkent will be temporarily closed for two days, according to a statement by the Tashkent City Administration.
The closure is scheduled due to ongoing construction and installation works in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of the capital. Specifically, the one-way section of the road—from the intersection of Durmon Yuli Street to the intersection of Qalandar Street—will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 22:00 on May 17 until 08:00 on May 19.
During this period, the city administration has advised drivers to use alternative routes to avoid the affected area.
It is worth recalling that earlier reports indicated that a section of “O‘zbekiston Ovozi” Street, also in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent, had been closed for more than one month due to related works.
