In Tashkent, a mother left her two young children with another woman, as reported by the Children's Ombudsman.
It was discovered that Q.N., who resides in the Olmazor district of the capital, met a woman named M.M. through a social network. M.M. trusted Q.N. and left her two children with her.
Reports indicate that one of the children was born in 2022, while the other was just two months old. The children were abandoned by M.M. 45 days ago, and during this time, she has not contacted them.
Currently, the two babies are temporarily placed in an orphanage for children under three years of age, and an investigation is being conducted by the district DIA.
"Contact has been established with M.M., and legal evaluation of her failure to care for her minor children is underway," the report stated.
Earlier in Fergana, a 19-year-old girl left her baby on the floor in a toilet, resulting in the child's death.
