Emergency Crews Extinguish Car Fire in Tashkent

On May 6, a fire broke out in Tashkent’s Yashnabad district, damaging two vehicles—a Damas and a Cobalt. The incident was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to official sources, at 12:22 PM, the Tashkent City Emergency Management Department received a report about a burning vehicle on Sodiq Azimov Street in the Yashnabad district. Firefighters arrived at the scene by 12:28 PM and managed to extinguish the blaze by 12:32 PM.

Both vehicles sustained fire-related damage, though no injuries were reported. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the financial impact of the damage.

It is worth noting that a previous incident in Fergana region’s Rishton district resulted in the imprisonment of a Lacetti driver for three years following a gas cylinder explosion.
