10660Today, February 26, the Tashkent city administration urged residents to exercise caution following heavy snowfall in the capital. The warning highlights potential dangers such as falling trees, unstable light structures, and fluctuations in gas pressure, according to the administration’s press service.
Due to the moisture-laden, heavy snow, there is an increased risk of trees and light structures collapsing. Authorities have advised residents to remain vigilant, particularly on the roads and in their immediate surroundings.
"Do not ignore changes in gas pressure! Follow all safety measures to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning and strictly adhere to fire safety rules," the statement emphasized.
Meanwhile, municipal landscaping teams and public service workers continue clearing snow and addressing its aftermath across the city.
Notably, today's weather forecast for Tashkent predicts partly cloudy conditions with intermittent snowfall.
