A person who tried to bring in an air gun was caught at Samarkand airport. This was reported by the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that the behavior of citizen R.H., who flew to “Samarkand Airport” on the “Sheremetevo-Samarkand” flight, aroused suspicion among the customs officers.
When the luggage belonging to R.H. was inspected in the prescribed manner in the presence of Holis, 1 air pistol with a caliber of 4.5 mm worth 5 million soms, 4 compressed air balloons and 89 bullets were found to be imported without proper permits.
In accordance with the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, a fine of 1,500,000 soms was imposed on the defendant R.H. in the amount of 5 times the base calculation amount.
Also, the objects of the offense were destroyed in the appropriate manner.
