Saida Mirziyoyeva meets with the daughter of “Arkadag” in Arkadag

On March 29, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan and the eldest daughter of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, met in the city of Arkadag, Turkmenistan, with Oguljahon Atabayeva, the eldest daughter of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, and Vice President for Medical Affairs of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need. Mirziyoyeva shared this on her social media page.  

“Today, at the invitation of Ms. Oguljahon Gurbangulyevna Otaboyeva, I had the honor to participate in the international conference ‘Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for Children,’ organized in Turkmenistan.  

Our peoples are connected not only by neighborliness but also by blood ties, centuries-old fraternal bonds, a shared culture, and a great history,” Mirziyoyeva wrote.  

She also expressed her deep admiration for the activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Charity Foundation, describing it as a remarkable example of compassion, responsibility, and sincere care for children.

 

“I am confident that today’s forum will create new opportunities for collaboration, experience exchange, and productive cooperation for the benefit of future generations. We are always open to partnership and believe that together we can accomplish even more for our children, as their happiness is our common future,” Mirziyoyeva stated.

 

During her visit, she also held a separate meeting with Oguljahon Atabayeva, expressing her gratitude for the invitation and the warm hospitality she received in Turkmenistan.  

“The fact that this visit took place during the blessed month of Ramadan is also symbolic. I sincerely congratulate the people of Turkmenistan on the occasion of Ramadan Eid and wish them continued success in promoting peace, development, and the well-being of future generations,” she added.  

For reference, on March 29, an international conference titled “Year of Peace and Trust: Developing International Activities for Children” was held in Arkadag, marking the fourth anniversary of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need. The event gathered officials and representatives from state bodies, public organizations, and international institutions from Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, India, and other countries.  

Notable attendees included Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Inna Svyatenko, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva, Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran Farzana Malvajerd, Minister of Health of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova, Minister of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia Mikhail Sarjveladze, Minister of Family and Social Services of Turkey Mohinur Göktash, Secretary General of the Ministry of Health of Armenia Vardanush Grigoryan, and General Director of Askin&Co Med-Lab Ralph Lugbauer.  

As part of the event, creative competitions were organized for children of employees of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations operating in Turkmenistan.  

Established in March 2021, the Charity Foundation actively collaborates with international organizations of a similar profile. Throughout its operations, it has provided aid to children affected by natural disasters in various countries and facilitated medical treatment for children in need in Turkmenistan.
