Official: Otabek Shukurov joins Saudi Club

Otabek Shukurov, a key player for the Uzbekistan national team and former member of Turkey's Kayserispor club, has transferred to Al-Fayha of Saudi Arabia. This announcement was made by the club's press service.
According to the source, the 28-year-old Shukurov has signed a one-year contract with his new club. The Saudi team has paid 400,000 euros to the Turkish club for Shukurov's transfer.
For reference, Shukurov appeared in 27 matches for Kayserispor last season and recorded one assist. As reported by "Transfermarkt," the midfielder's value is estimated at 2.2 million euros.
