President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev came to the Kashkadarya region.

The head of state began the visit from the New Batosh neighborhood in the Karshi district.  There was no school here as this was a neighborhood established in 2021.  More than 500 boys and girls attended a school 10 kilometers away.

A new school was recently built here.  The president visited it during his visit to the neighborhood.

The school has 660 places.  There are more than thirty classrooms, a library, an activist lounge, a kitchen, a STEM lab, a computer lab, and career guidance rooms.  Open and closed sports fields, and road safety lanes have been established.

The head of state communicated with the students.

"We are creating such conditions that pupils will learn foreign languages and trades from school. 11th grade will be a life path class.  If every young person studies like this and finds his place in society, Uzbekistan will have a solid foundation," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The President talked with teachers from Kashkadarya here.

"Teachers are front and foremost in every reform and decision-making process.  It's not a secret that children were wrapped in cotton wool for three months.  There was a shortage of 155,000 schools places in Kashkadarya alone.  1 trillion was allocated to the region for this purpose.  215 schools were built.  Today, Kashkadarya ranks first in the republic in terms of the number of schools.  The monthly salaries of teachers have also been increased.  Of course, we will continue these improvements, but the main thing is quality.  First of all, it depends on the knowledge, outlook, and dedication of the teachers," said the head of state.

At the meeting, pedagogues talked about their work and expressed their opinions and suggestions.
