Reports have surfaced on social media about an 8th grade student giving birth in the Navoi region. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education has confirmed the incident.
The case took place at Secondary School No. 15 in Karmana district. According to initial information, the student had been absent from certain classes, raising questions about her academic performance. Authorities are currently investigating claims that the student was given grades despite missing lessons.
Law enforcement agencies are conducting a full investigation, with further details to be disclosed following its conclusion.
Earlier, a similar case was reported in the Bukhara region, where a 12-year-old girl was found to be pregnant.
