14-year-old boy beats his mother and grandmother over a phone In Namangan (video)

A video of a teenager beating his mother has been circulating on social networks. In order to clarify the situation, QALAMPIR.UZ contacted the Children's Ombudsman, Surayyo Rakhmonova.

According to her, the incident occurred on April 24 in the Davlatabad district of the Namangan region. She stated that 38-year-old S.Sh. had a quarrel with her 14-year-old son, R.A., in their apartment over domestic reasons (the boy's broken mobile phone was not sent for repair and was thrown away by family members), and that during the conflict, the mother and son beat each other.

When the woman's mother, the boy's grandmother, X.A., tried to stop the quarrel, the boy also raised his hand against her. It is reported that district officials are taking appropriate measures regarding this negative behavior.

"There is no insignificant aspect in raising a child. A child's behavior and morals are a reflection of the behavior and attitude of family members, especially parents, toward the child. Parents are responsible for raising a child, and timely attention to negative changes in his or her interests and behavior will prevent such unpleasant situations," said Surayyo Rakhmonova in an interview with the editorial staff.
