Abbosbek Fayzullayev, a midfielder for CSKA, expressed his desire to share the field with the renowned world champion Lionel Messi in an interview with "Match TV".

Over the weekend, Fayzullayev, accompanied by goalkeeper Vladimir Shaykhutdinov, attended the CSKA versus Zenit match (73:91) as part of the semi-finals of the VTB United Basketball League in Moscow. Among the attendees was hockey star Alexander Ovechkin, who achieved Stanley Cup success with the Washington Capitals.

There he asked Fayzullayev, "Have you seen Alexander Ovechkin, do you know who he is? Ovechkin's dream is to take a picture with Michael Jordan, what about you?" questions were asked.

"Yes, Ovechkin is a legendary hockey player, I know him. I would like to play with Messi," says Fayzullayev.

For context, Messi, aged 36, predominantly played for Barcelona throughout his illustrious career, clinching the Spanish championship ten times, the European Champions League four times, the UEFA Super Cup thrice, and the Club World Cup on three occasions. He briefly represented PSG before joining Inter Miami last summer. Messi boasts eight "Golden Ball" awards, recognizing him as the world's best player.
