The compliance of all types of gas stations operating in the Fergana region with established norms and standards will be examined. This initiative follows an order issued by the regional governor.
According to the official statement, “To prevent accidents and unpleasant incidents, comply with safety regulations, and eliminate shortcomings, a working group was formed consisting of employees from the Fergana territorial department of 'Uzdavneftgazinspeksiya,' the regional emergency management department, and the 'Hududgaz Fergana' gas supply branch.” This working group will assess the compliance of gas compressor stations for automobiles (AGTKS), gas filling stations for automobiles (AGKS), and fuel filling stations for automobiles (AYOQS) with industrial, fire, and environmental safety requirements. The inspection will also cover the condition of fuel storage tanks (capacities) and adherence to other legislative norms. It was emphasized that financial operations at the stations will not be interfered with, and the stations will continue to operate under their usual procedures during the inspection.
Additionally, all employees working at gas filling stations for automobiles, as well as compressed and liquefied gas filling stations, regardless of their organizational or legal form, will undergo conditional training. This training will be conducted based on a program provided by the training center under the regional emergency management department.
