1853Individuals awarded the "Honorary Donor of the Republic of Uzbekistan" badge will now have the right to use city passenger transport free of charge, excluding scheduled and non-scheduled taxis. This provision was introduced in a law passed on February 28, amending several legislative acts.
The law introduces changes to the "On Regulation of Free Use of City Passenger Transport" and "On Donation of Blood and Its Components" acts, increasing the one-time cash reward for honorary donors. Under the new amendments, recipients of this badge will receive a one-time payment equal to 15 times the minimum wage, amounting to 5,625,000 sums. Previously, this amount was set at five times the minimum wage.
In addition to free urban transport, honorary donors will also have the right to:
- Take annual leave at a convenient time
- Receive priority access to sanatorium and resort treatment vouchers
The law takes effect from the date of its official publication.
