Uzhydromet issues heatwave warning for July 17–19

Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for July 17, warning of extremely high temperatures across the country.

In Tashkent, the weather will be partly cloudy with no precipitation expected. Winds will blow from the east at a speed of 3 to 8 meters per second. The temperature will range from 22 to 24 degrees Celsius at night and rise to 38 to 40 degrees during the day.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, the weather will be partly cloudy and changeable in some areas, with no precipitation. Winds from the east will reach speeds of 9 to 14 meters per second, and dust may be observed in some locations. Temperatures will be between 24 and 29 degrees at night, and 38 to 43 degrees during the day.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected. Winds will blow at 7 to 12 meters per second, occasionally increasing to 13 to 18 meters per second, with dust observed in some areas. Nighttime temperatures will be between 23 and 28 degrees, reaching up to 30 degrees in desert areas. Daytime temperatures will range from 38 to 43 degrees.

The weather in the Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions will be partly cloudy with no precipitation. Eastern winds will blow at 7 to 12 meters per second, occasionally rising to 13 to 18 meters per second, and may carry dust in certain areas. Temperatures will be between 21 and 26 degrees at night and 36 to 41 degrees during the day.

In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will be partly cloudy and dry. Winds will blow at 7 to 12 meters per second, increasing in some places to 13 to 18 meters per second, with dust observed in some areas. Temperatures at night will range from 23 to 28 degrees, and daytime temperatures will climb to 39 to 44 degrees.

In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather will be partly cloudy and variable in some places, with no precipitation. Winds from the east will blow at a speed of 5 to 10 meters per second. Temperatures will be between 20 and 25 degrees at night, and 35 to 40 degrees during the day.
