From now on, public positions will be hired only on the basis of competition. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev mentioned this in his address to the chambers of the Oliy Majlis today, 20 December.
“This year, we adopted a new law on Public Service. From now on, public positions will be hired only on the basis of competition. The activity of all leaders is evaluated based on performance indicators,” said the President.
Also, the head of state promised to train 500 specialists in the most prestigious foreign universities and centers every year.
“In the next two years, educated and experienced personnel who have worked in high positions in republican offices will be appointed to each district and city hokimita.
“From the new year, each governor will have to bring 40-50 million dollars of private investments to his district,” says Mirziyoyev.
