The obligation for students who received education through government funding to work for 3 years has been removed, as reported by journalist Mohinur Mamatova from QALAMPIR.UZ.

It's mentioned that government grants consist of both educational grants, which cover one academic year, and social-stimulating grants. Students funded by the government no longer have to commit to three years of work after graduation. Social-stimulating grants are awarded to students selected through targeted admission and preference for the entire duration of their studies.

"Once the grants are distributed, the requirement for continuous work automatically ceases, and diplomas are issued on time. Nowadays, graduates who receive grants are mostly receiving their diplomas electronically, without any delays. Employers now check the single register to verify qualifications, eliminating the need for written confirmation from the ministry about university attendance," explained Abduvali Kholiqov, the head of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation department.
