From Artikkhodjayev to Hoshimov: The President awards a group of entrepreneurs

Today, on August 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold an open dialogue with entrepreneurs and present state awards to a group of them, Presidential Spokesperson Sherzod Asadov reported.

The President’s first open dialogue with entrepreneurs was held on August 20, 2021. At that meeting, he proposed organizing the event annually and declaring August 20 as Entrepreneurs’ Day. Since then, the meetings have become a tradition, where issues of concern to business representatives are discussed and decisions are made in consultation with them.

To date, around 1,000 proposals and initiatives voiced by entrepreneurs during open dialogues have been reflected in laws and resolutions. In preparation for today’s event, meetings were held with about 7,000 representatives across 26 sectors. More than 13,000 appeals and initiatives were also received through the Call Center.

At today’s meeting, the President is expected to announce new measures developed on the basis of these appeals, aimed at creating greater convenience for entrepreneurial activity.

In addition, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will familiarize himself with ongoing construction work in New Tashkent.
