Bahodir Jalolov begins his Olympic career

On July 29, the third day of the Olympics, eight athletes from Uzbekistan will compete for medals.
Ruslan Abdullayev in the -63.5 kg category and Bahodir Jalolov in the +92 kg category will start their medal campaigns in boxing.
The first performances by Uzbek athletes today will be in judo. Murodjon Yoldoshev will compete in the men's -73 kg category, and Shukurjon Aminova will compete in the women's -57 kg category.

Zaynab Dayibekova, the flag bearer of the Uzbekistan delegation, will compete for medals in fencing, starting at 13:50.
Ilya Sibirtsev in swimming, and Shahzod Nurmatov and Sobir Safaraliyev in academic rowing, will also test their abilities in the world's biggest four-year sports competition.
