From January to July this year, a total of 6,319,100 foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan, the State Committee on Statistics reported.
It was stated that compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by nearly 2.1 million people, or 48.9 percent.

It is worth noting that earlier, in 2024, Kazakhstan received the highest number of foreign tourists, with 15.3 million visitors among Central Asian countries. Kyrgyzstan ranked second with 8.6 million tourists, followed by Uzbekistan with 8 million visitors.
