Aziz Toshpulatov appointed as Uzbekistan’s Minister of Internal Affairs

The deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis have approved the candidacy of Aziz Toshpulatov for the post of Minister of Internal Affairs. This was reported today, March 3, by the press service of the Legislative Chamber.
During today's session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, deputies reviewed and approved Aziz Toshpulatov’s appointment as Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
For reference, Aziz Toshpulatov previously served as the head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city.
It should be recalled that Pulat Bobojonov, who had been serving as Minister of Internal Affairs since 2017, was dismissed.
