A video of a fire at a transformer substation in Andijan was circulated on social networks. “Territory Electric Networks” provided information about the situation.
It is noted that this situation happened yesterday 25 December, at the transformer station No. 155, located in the 2nd sub-district of Andijan city. A short circuit occurred in the faulty transformer while it was being replaced with a spare transformer.
As a result, about 380 residents living in 6 multi-storey buildings were cut off from the electricity supply. Currently, the shortcomings identified by the rapid exit brigade are being eliminated.
“The electricity supply of the households living in this area will be fully restored as soon as possible,” the message said.
