Businesswoman assaults 20-year-old employee in Andijan over debt

A video showing a woman beating a young girl in the Andijan region has been circulating on social media. The Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs has released a statement regarding the incident.
According to the department, the incident took place on December 15, 2024, in the Hunarmand neighborhood of Andijan city. A clothing store owner assaulted a 20-year-old employee, born in 2005, during a dispute over a mutual debt.
It was noted that the victim had not previously reported the harassment or violence to law enforcement authorities or her family members.
Authorities have since identified the individuals involved, and a preliminary investigation is currently underway.
It is worth recalling that a similar incident occurred earlier in Navoi city, where a group of girls fought and physically assaulted each other in a public recreation park.
