On May 26, in the Andijan district of Andijan region, a Nexia-2 driver attempted to escape from road patrol officers and collided with two cars. This was reported by the regional Road Safety Department.

The incident occurred at 14:00 on New Asaka Road. A traffic police inspector signaled the Nexia-2 to stop for a document check. However, the driver, a 2005-born citizen, ignored the lawful request and drove towards the Asaka district.

While driving through the “Körkam” neighborhood, the driver continued to disobey several traffic police officers. He abruptly left an internal street onto the main road, where he collided with a Labo and a Captiva traveling in the same direction.

After the collision, the driver fled the scene. Officers pursued and stopped the vehicle in the “Humo” neighborhood of Asaka district. Upon inspection in the presence of two witnesses, a sharp object (knife) was found in the passenger compartment, and it was confirmed that the driver was operating the vehicle without proper documents.

According to regional traffic police, no one was injured in the accident, but the vehicles sustained technical damage. The driver has been placed in temporary detention by the Asaka district internal affairs department under Article 288 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (administrative detention). Investigative actions are underway.

It is worth noting that previously, in the Akdarya district of Samarkand region, a Cobalt car driver disobeyed a road patrol officer’s demands and dragged the officer by the car door.
