Andijan accident: Young girl struck by Damas vehicle

In the Oltinko‘l district of Andijan region, a Damas vehicle struck an 8-year-old girl. The Andijan Regional Traffic Safety Department reported the incident.

According to the report, on February 25 at around 4:30 pm, the accident occurred at the 124th kilometer of the D-105 "Fergana Ring Road" in the "Toptiq" neighborhood of Oltinko‘l district. The driver, S.I., born in 1999, was driving his Damas vehicle when he hit the pedestrian, O.N., born in 2015, who was running across the road at an unmarked crossing.

As a result of the accident, the young pedestrian, O.N., sustained injuries and was admitted to the district hospital. A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigation Group under the Oltinko‘l District Internal Affairs Department, and investigative actions are currently underway.

Earlier, a similar incident occurred in the Uychi district of Namangan region, where a Lacetti vehicle struck an 11-year-old schoolgirl. Unfortunately, the girl succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.
