Some streets in Tashkent to be temporarily closed tomorrow

Traffic will be temporarily restricted on some streets in Tashkent tomorrow, May 22, in connection with an event to send off Uzbekistan’s national team to the World Cup. The Traffic Management Center of Tashkent reported this.

According to the center, in order to organize the event safely and at a high level, traffic will be temporarily restricted from time to time on a number of streets in Tashkent from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on May 22.

During the event, traffic may be periodically restricted on the following routes:

• from the intersection of Chilanzar and Chuponota streets along Chuponota Street to the intersection of Katartal and Chuponota streets;
• from the intersection of Kichik Halqa Yoli and Chilanzar streets along Chilanzar Street to the intersection of Chilanzar and Chuponota streets;
• from the intersection of Kichik Halqa Yoli and Bunyodkor streets along the secondary road of Bunyodkor Street to the intersection of Bunyodkor and Chuponota streets;
• from the intersection of Nurafshon and Sebzor streets along Sebzor Street to the intersection of Islam Karimov and Bunyodkor streets;
• from the intersection of Islam Karimov and Bunyodkor streets along Bunyodkor Street to the intersection of Bunyodkor and Second Katartal streets.

Drivers are advised to plan alternative routes in advance.
