Uzbeks in Iran urged to observe security measures

Amid rising tensions in the region, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran has issued a warning to Uzbek citizens residing in the country, urging them to strictly observe all security protocols.
The Embassy noted that due to the escalating situation surrounding Iran and the potential for missile strikes, citizens are advised to closely follow official announcements from both Iranian authorities and the Uzbek diplomatic mission.
Additionally, Uzbeks in Iran are encouraged to always carry their identification documents and the contact details of the Uzbek Embassy.

The warning follows reports that, during the night of June 13, Israel launched strikes on several Iranian nuclear facilities and high-level command sites. According to early information, a number of Iranian commanders and nuclear scientists were killed.
Earlier, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel issued a similar warning, calling on citizens in that country to take immediate safety precautions in light of the risk of retaliatory missile attacks.
