Fire breaks out at a market in Khorezm (video)

A fire broke out today, November 7, at a market in the Urganch district of Khorezm region, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The Ministry stated that the fire was reported in clothing stores on Gurlan Street in the "Shermatlar" neighborhood of Urganch district. In response, eight fire-rescue teams arrived on the scene at 12:59 p.m., contained the fire by 1:20 p.m., and fully extinguished it by 1:50 p.m.

Videos circulating on social media show a Damas vehicle engulfed in flames during the incident.

According to the Ministry, no injuries or fatalities occurred as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire and the extent of material damage are currently under investigation.

This incident follows a recent fire in a store in Samarkand district, Samarkand region, where the ceiling, roof, and merchandise were damaged.
