Procedure for selecting applicants for the “Zulfiya” award was determined

The regulation on the procedure for selecting applicants for the state award named after "Zulfiy"a and submitting their documents was approved. This is mentioned in the decision of the Government adopted on November 1 of this year.

According to the decision, the selection of candidates for the state award named after "Zulfiya", the procedure for formalizing and submitting their documents, as well as the criteria for evaluating the achievements, scientific, creative and practical work of the candidates were determined.

Applicants are selected through competitions in 8 areas - science, education, literature, culture, art, sports, information technologies and community activities.

The award is given to talented women between the ages of 14 and under 30, who are an example to their peers with their social activity and talent, for their academic and work achievements.

The selection of suitable candidates for each position is carried out in the following stages:

district (city) stage — from September 2 to October 20;  
Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city stage - from October 21 to November 30;  
the republican stage is held from December 1 to December 31.  

The prize is awarded annually to 2 representatives of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent - a total of 28 applicants.

Prize winners are awarded a diploma, a badge and a monetary award of 50 times the BHM annually on the eve of the International Women's Day, March 8.
