The First Lady of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and her eldest daughter, Presidential Assistant Saida Mirziyoyeva, explored the Qatar National Museum and the Museum of Islamic Art. UzA reported on the visit.

It is noted that the National Museum of Qatar, which Ziroat Mirziyoyeva visited, opened in 2019. The museum showcases information about the history of the state of Qatar, customs and traditions of Qataris, and Islamic monuments in the country.

They also visited the Museum of Islamic Art in Qatar, located on an artificial island off the coast of Doha and consisting of five floors. Launched in 2008, this museum serves as a symbolic expression of the diversity of traditional culture and the richness of Islamic art. It features Islamic art objects from the 7th to the 19th centuries in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The museum includes a library, a 200-seat lecture hall, a restoration laboratory, and several presentation rooms.

Notably, this museum houses a copy of a page from the Qur'an brought from Samarkand.

We would like to remind you that earlier, the wife of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, participated in the 11th International Innovation Summit on Education held in Qatar. Within the summit's framework, a one-on-one meeting took place between Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Moza bint Nasir al-Misnad, the mother of the Emir of Qatar.
