A road transport incident involving 8 cars occurred in Jizzakh

A total of 8 vehicles, including a bus, were involved in a traffic accident as a result of the bus driver falling asleep in Jizzakh.  This was reported by the State Traffic Safety Service.

The incident was reported yesterday, 17 January at 21:00 p.m. on "Mustaqillik shah" street in Jizzakh city.

It was reported that the driver A.N. was driving the "ANKAI" passenger bus belonging to Jizzakh Autotrans Servis Limited Liability Company without passengers.  He had symptoms of fatigue while driving and fell asleep, thus losing control of the steering wheel.  There were several cars waiting in line ahead of him, travelling in the same direction at the gas station in front of the "JizzaxPlasTex" enterprise:

1) After colliding with the back of the "Damas" car belonging to driver Q.A., the "Damas" car went to the right side of the road and overturned, the bus continued to drive and consequently hit:

2) Nexia-2 model belonging to the driver T.K.;

3) Nexia-2 model belonging to the driver T.U.;

4) Cobalt model belonging to the driver Z.Sh.;

5) Nexia-3 model belonging to the driver X.A.;

6) Nexia-2 model belonging to the driver U.S.;

7) The driver also collided with Lacetti cars owned by R.I.  A total of 7 vehicles were struck, and road traffic accident was caused.

Following the accident, A.Q., the driver of the Damas car, received first aid and was sent to his home address for outpatient treatment.

An inquiry is being conducted by the employees of the Traffic Safety Department of the Criminal Security Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jizzakh region regarding this accident.

It should be recalled that on 12 January this year, a traffic accident involving 17 cars took place in the capital city of Tashkent.
