Jamshid Kochkarov is reappointed as the Minister of Economy and Finance

Jamshid Anvarovich Kochkarov was approved for the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.  Today, on August 3, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on this.

According to reports, earlier Jamshid Kochkarov’s candidacy was approved by the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

For information, Jamshid Kochkarov was born on October 19, 1964 in Kattakorgan district of Samarkand region.  In 2017-2020, he worked as the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan for macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, reform of financial and banking systems, private entrepreneurship and small business development, and headed the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.  Since January 24, 2020, he has been the Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Alleviation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

We remind you that today, August 3, by the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Qudbiyev was appointed to the position of the chairman of the Tax Committee under the Cabinet of Ministers.
