There were reports on social networks that the Hospital of Specialized Infectious Diseases was temporarily relocated and that public transport was unavailable, causing inconvenience to the staff.  The press service of the sanitary-epidemiological peace and public health committee made an official response to the situation.

According to the committee, the Ministry of Transport was contacted for practical assistance in this situation.  As a result, studies were conducted by officials of the Tashkent city transport department and the Tashkent region transport department regarding the establishment of a new city public transport route to Zangiota infectious diseases hospital No. 2.

According to the results of the study, it was found that the distance from the hospital to the 5th metro station is 6.9 kilometers, and it is expedient to establish a new bus route due to the inconvenience caused to the workers coming and going to the hospital.  .

According to the information provided by the Tashkent city transport department, route 154 from the metro station to the clinic in Zangiota has been developed and put up for tender.  The route will be launched by 21 March after the tender.

The statement of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Peace and Public Health Committee did not provide details on whether the hospital was moved or not.  However, according to the information that a bus to the clinic in Zangiota will be launched, the hospital has not been moved anywhere.
