A criminal case was opened against the former head of the Yunusabad administration

The former head of the Yunusabad district administration of Tashkent city is accused of committing fraud together with two accomplices.   Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor’s Office, gave information about this.

It is noted that the former head of the housing and communal services and improvement department of the Yunusabad district administration, promised a citizen a new Malibu car from a car dealership with two criminal partners in return for 30,000 US dollars.   They received the the amount in dollars and spent it on their needs.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated by the Yunusabad District Prosecutor’s office under Article 168, Part 4, Clause “a” (fraud) of the Criminal Code.

In the framework of the criminal case, the precautionary measure of “detention” was applied to 2 persons.  1 person was wanted because he hid from the investigation.
Investigations are currently being conducted in connection with this situation.
