"Bunyodkor" stadium, located in the city of Tashkent, was laid with special grass suitable for the climate of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the stadium.

Earlier, it was reported by experts that the drainage system of the stadium had not worked since the construction of the complex. As a result, the field grass was rotting.

It is known that the U-20 Asian Football Championship will be held in Uzbekistan in 2023. For this purpose, renovation work was started on the square.

According to reports, the stadium area has been completely rebuilt. It was reported that the field level has risen by 1 meter.

For information, the "Bunyodkor" stadium was commissioned on August 31, 2012. The complex can accommodate 34,000 fans.
